WATCH: Greenfield Slams “Cheap Talk” In Wake of Pittsburgh Shul Massacre

David G. Greenfield, CEO of Met Council, was invited by COJO of Staten Island to speak at their annual legislative breakfast Sunday. Of course, yesterday was the day after the anti-Semitic Pittsburgh terror attack.

The event in a local Staten Island shul was surrounded by counter-terrorism officers inside and out.

Greenfield, a former elected official representing Borough Park & Flatbush who now leads New York’s largest tzedakah, spoke about the Met Council’s close relationship with COJO providing them with services and food for thousands of needy in Staten Island. Then in an unexpected turn, Greenfield shut his folder and said he wanted to make some unscripted remarks to the hundreds of influential elected officials, community leaders and police brass that were gathered.
