President Trump issued an all-caps New Year�s greeting to his Twitter followers on Tuesday � including �the haters and the fake news media� � calling for everyone to �just calm down and enjoy the ride.�

The commander-in-chief has been stuck in the White House after canceling his trip to Mar-a-Lago amid the partial government shutdown that began on Dec. 21 when Democrats refused his demand for $5 billion to pay for a border wall with Mexico.

Late Monday, he shared an 11-second video on Twitter, saying: �While I�m at the White House working, you�re out there partying tonight. But I don�t blame you. Enjoy yourselves. We�re going to have a great year. Have a really, really happy new year.�
