TRAGEDY: 14-Year-Old Boy Niftar Nearly 3 Years After Struck By Vehicle In Boro Park

A 14-year-old boy was sadly Niftar on Monday night, nearly three years after he was struck by a vehicle in Boro Park.

Moshe Yehuda Wolpin Z”L (son of Reb Dovid) was 11-years-old when he was on his bicycle on the way to yeshiva when he was struck by a vehicle at the corner of Dahill Road and Cortelyou Road. At the time, YWN reported that he was rushed to Maimonides Hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, he never recovered and was transferred to numerous facilities over the past three years as his family and friends were Mispallel for him.

Unfortunately, Moshe Yehuda returned his pure Neshama to the Ribono Shel Olam on Monday evening.

The Levaya will be held in front of the Stoliner Shul on 16 Ave at 10:00AM.

  2. I’m told that his oldest brother Sruly is making Pidyon Haben this evening, day #1 of Shivaa!
How incredible Jews are. There is a Mitzva to be Podeh firstborn son after the 30th day. Even during Shivaa, this mitzvaa is performed. How sad though the ambience is. Simcha in midst of Aveilut, as the Torah commands.
