Sima, not Shima
Moderators Note: The name is exactly how YWN wrote it. Shima. Rav Moshe wrote his wifes name with a shin not a samach. YWN knows this because we are in possession of photos of multiple Seforim given as gifts to grandchildren of Rav Moshe, which have his handwritten inscriptions. The name is sHima.
Moderator, you are right. The name is Shima, not Sima.
How do you know it’s a shin and not a sin? Many Yiddish names are spelled with a sin.
