It’s Official: Felder Announces Candidacy for New York State Senate

felder11.jpgBrooklyn, NY – Democratic Council Member Simcha Felder announced his candidacy for the 21st District of the New York State Senate. Committed to make sure that the people of the 21st Senate District are properly represented and receive the services they desperately deserve, Felder highlighted his experience delivering results for his district. Additionally, with his focus on transparency in government and proven record of reform, Felder promised to continue his fight to demand accountability from the government in Albany.

The people of the 21st Senate District deserve better representation and better results from their elected officials. I have a history of delivering services to the community and am proud to have the support of a broad coalition of leaders throughout the community as well as the support of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, said Felder. Between renovating parks, improving roads, transforming empty city-owned lots for community use, advancing schools, cleaning our streets, and fighting traffic, I have fought tirelessly to improve the 44th Council District. I know that I am the most qualified person to deliver these same services that the people of the 21st Senatorial District desperately need.

Felder has opened a campaign office at 1016 41st Street in Brooklyn.
