Brooklyn, NY- Councilman Simcha Felder is pleased to announce that the Department of Transportation has listened to the concerns of the community and is installing a traffic light at the intersection on 16th Avenue and 55th Street in his district. Work is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2008.
�I�m thrilled that the Department of Transportation has recognized the need to address safety issues at this intersection,� Felder said. �I want to thank Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan and Mayor Bloomberg for their responsiveness in addressing this community concern.�

if they are listening to the concrens of the people why dont fix all the pot holes. i guess its easier to put in one lousy traffic light.
