Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that his country’s invasion of Ukraine is going “according to plan” and that the violence will “get worse.”
The Russian leader’s comments were made in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, in which the French leader had apparently not accomplished anything.
“President Putin expressed his very great determination to continue the offensive, the aim of which is to take control of the whole country,” the French government said following the call.
Russian and Ukrainian officials have been engaged in talks to discuss a possible truce, though the two sides remain far apart. It is more likely that some sort of agreement will be reached to allow refugees pass through and escape the country as the war rages around them.

[YWN,] Don’t take sides. Just report the news. You have NO IDEA on the conflict, nor of the RISHAS of the Ukrainians. Neither as to why the entire LEFT are on the side of Ukraine. And why the American (& Global) LEFT intentionally triggered this war.

Time for President Donald Trump to take over the negotiations, and use his charisma & expertise to bring this conflict to an immediate & total conclusion, and I am absolutely sure that President Donald Trump shall be way more מצליח than macron.
His “blitzkreig” sort of fizzled. Now he’s going “double or nothing”, but all that does it leave him worse off even if he wins. Instead of conquering a potential rich province, he’ll have exhausted his blood and treasure for guerilla (terrorist) infested ruins, and turned almost all western democracies into well armed enemies.
It’s high time that the US and all of nato confront Putin head on.
