Former President Barack Obama sent a blistering email to ex-White House doctor Ronny Jackson after the now-representative took a “cheap shot” against President Joe Biden’s cognitive health.
Jackson, who is now a Republican representative for Texas in the House, has made several statements about the 79-year-old Biden’s
“concerning mental gaffes” during the 2020 presidential campaign. As the former White House doctor for three presidents – Bush, Obama, and Trump – Jackson had the medical qualifications to back up his comments.
During the 2020 campaign, Jackson wrote on Twitter: “Biden was on TV again, making crazy statements and concerning mental gaffes; he didn’t know what state he was in or what office he was campaigning for.”
“He apparently thought at one point that he was running for the Senate and later couldn’t remember what state he was campaigning in,” Jackson continued. “This has been going on for months and was getting worse.”
Barack Obama wasn’t too happy with Jackson.
“I have to express my disappointment at the cheap shot you took at Joe Biden via Twitter,” Obama wrote to Jackson in an email. “It was unprofessional and beneath the office that you once held. It was also disrespectful to me and the many friends you had in our administration.”
Jackson writes in an upcoming book that he didn’t respond to Obama’s email but considered calling him.
“So, upon reflection, I thought, ‘You know what? [expletive] that guy! I’m not doing it.’ I just walked away from it, which was the last time I had any contact with [Obama],” Jackson writes.

Disrespectful? Yes! False? NO!
Free speech ain’t free, it can cost you for telling the truth….
1) President Biden, as demonstrated in countless videos, is in advanced stages of dementia.
2) Many videos on YWN purported to be exhibiting the above, absolutely do not exhibit anything of the sort, are fake news, and are just mean-spirited and disrespectful. (For example: the absolute lie that the president was confused when his wife told him to say, “G-d bless America” at the end of a speech. Really! He was very clearly not confused whatsoever.)
3) Former President Obama is completely off his rocker. How is it a cheap shot to call attention to the cognitive decline of someone who may get to have his finger on the proverbial button!? I mean, what isn’t a cheap shot, then!? Is all criticism called taking a cheap shot!?
4) Not responding to a polite albeit heated, critical, and silly email sent directly from someone who was your former boss/patient and who is a former president, is really, really rude.
It really lowers the good doctor’s credibility here.
Obama had no problem with all the “cheap shots” his friends took at Biden’s predecessor, even though many of them were much worse.
Not much of an “attack”, dignified criticism.
I don’t think any doctors needed to point out Sleepy Joe’s cognitive deficiencies.
I agree with Reb Pork. How come all the fakenews anchors like Jim Acost-her and Fake Tapper who were clamoring for President Trump to take a cognitive test have gone silent here? This coverup is worse than the silence on Ashley’s diary entry of the late President Biden showering with her as a youngster.
