In another episode of Trump Derangement Syndrome, a frequently published CNN columnist left no questions about his view of Donald Trump supporters, saying he views them the very same as supporters of infamous terrorist Osama bin Laden.
In the same week that a CIA drone strike killed Al Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s successor, CNN columnist Dean Obeidallah wrote on Twitter Thursday morning: “At this point I LITERALLY view people who still support Donald Trump no different than the despicable, vile people who supported Bin Laden after 9/11.”
Earlier in the morning, Obeidallah wrote, “How soulless are the GOP candidates? They actually fight to get the endorsement of Donald Trump, a man who waged a coup and incited the Jan 6 terrorist attack.”
In yet another beauty, Obeidallah compared Republican lawmakers to the Taliban.
“The Taliban should be suing the GOP for trademark infringement,” he wrote.
And there’s more. He also wrote this on Thursday morning: “Daily Reminder: Today’s GOP is no longer a political party, it’s a white nationalist, FASCIST movement that seeks to impose their EXTREME religious beliefs as the law of our land. It must be utterly defeated in order to save our Republic.”
Good to see CNN’s personalities showing who they really are.

YWN is schizophrenic, producing pieces like this, and then republishing verbatim AP’s Democrat propaganda, with headlines of its own devising that often go even beyond the lies contained in the piece! If this is how the true YWN feels, then drop AP, or at least only publish factual pieces, edited to remove the obvious lies and spin.

He’s a comedian and a columnist who was at one time a practicing lawyer. He alone is responsible for his words.

But since most the world is deranged these days, don’t you think the CNN columnist should try to fit in? Could you get a job (especially as a journalist) if you were sane?
For a Yid, the solution is to ignore the media (“all” includes CNN, Fox and YWN), and stick to Torah and Mitsvos, and ignore the world gone mad. That takes more emunah than most few people have.
Milhouse, I fully agree. I don’t understand how YWN keeps posting AP articles that many times are pushing against our beliefs themselves. A site that clains they are an “Orthodox” (or even Torah) Jewish publication should not have articles from the AP on their website.
And 147 and Reb Eliezer, enough already! I’m not sure who your daas torah is, but it doesn’t seem so torahdik. This is a site for Torah Jews to get news from. The views you guys and others espouse usually counter to what’s acceptable to Torah Jewry (all silly politics aside).

Menachem Shmei: Let me explain something to you, if I may. The Liberal Media Corporations are, by and large, NOT ‘the other side of the debate’. For although many of us formerly believed there was an honest debate of ideals between Conservatives and Liberals, we eventually realized this: The Liberals have managed to pull the wool over our eyes. And they have finally revealed their true colors. They have shown beyond a shadow of doubt they’re more than willing to play dirty to achieve their agenda. Take the Russia Hoax for example. A 2-year national news cycle that turned out to be deliberate disinformation and character assassination. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The Liberals have been losing the debate for a long time. Proof is, if you are winning the debate, why shut it down? The fact that they constantly move to shut down debate shows that they are losing badly. In addition, fact is, the numbers are not on their side. They themselves don’t really believe what they are saying.
That’s why ignoring their propaganda is not bias. It’s sensible. It’s somewhat similar to terrorist propaganda. Do we discuss it because we are ‘unbiased’? of course not. We know it for what it is – Lies and propaganda.
Now, we know that ignoring the Liberals’ media corporations is very hard. They have an iron grip on certain public trends. The Liberal Apparatus has swallowed the Media, Corporate America, Silicon Valley, and the Entertainment industry, and has swallowed them whole. Many get swept away by it’s force with no strength to resist. But we are not fazed by all this.
Bottom line: The Liberal media corporations and apparatus have gained the status of ‘הוחזק שקרן’. They are not to be taken at face value.
That’s why one may wonder why a site that caters to a readership which most of whom strongly believe in all this, goes on publishing pieces which are generally viewed as distasteful liberal propaganda.
