6:50PM EST: Misaskim units have just been contacted by the NYPD and NYC Medical Examiner’s office for their assistance in the tragic death of 78-year-old Yaakov Ladizhensky Z”L. Sources tell YWN, that the Niftar (deceased) was R”L pulled out of the ocean waters at Brighton Beach early Friday morning, and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Misaskim are currently making arrangements with the Medical Examiner’s office to have the body released so that proper Shmira can take place throughout Shabbos.
