Rosh Hashanah Fire in Monticello Was Arson

MFD.jpgInvestigators say arson is behind a fire that destroyed an unoccupied bungalow outside Monticello on Wednesday afternoon – the second day of Rosh Hashanah.

The fire destroyed half of a two-family bungalow at the Lakeside Colony on Concord Road.

The Sullivan County Sherrif Patrol Chief told the Times Herald Record that police are looking for two young men who were seen walking away from the bungalow about one hour before the fire.
