A devastating tragedy struck the Flatbush community Tuesday night with the petirah of Yossi Loriner Z”L, 25, following a horrific car crash in Pennsylvania.

Yossi, the son of Yitzchok Loriner of Flatbush, was studying in law school in Pennsylvania and was driving home to visit his parents when the fatal accident occurred. His grandmother is a longtime secretary at The Cheder in Flatbush.

According to authorities, the crash took place just before 8:15 p.m. on the northbound lanes of I-476 in Luzerne County. Yossi was tragically Niftar at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation into the cause of the collision, which involved a truck.
