Thursday AM Update from Eretz Yisrael – 7:00AM IL


07:00 – A number of rockets were fired into Sderot during the early morning hours. No injuries are reported.

Sirens sounded shortly after 5:00am in Ashkelon Thursday morning. There are no reports of injuries from that rocket attack. No additional information is available.

05:00 – 15 people were injured in a vehicular accident in the French Hill area of the capital. A van and a commercial vehicle were involved according to preliminary reports from the scene. Two people were lightly injured. The remainder appears in light condition.

01:40 – A Kassam and Katyusha rocket were fired towards Beersheva about 5 minutes apart. The Katyusha landed in an open area in Beersheva. Baruch Hashem there are no reports of injuries. Hamas media reports two dead and 20 wounded in the Beit Lahiya area of northern Gaza after the air force retaliated for the latest rocket attacks.

00:20 – The Red Alert warning sounded, tracking three rocket launches towards Ofakim and Beersheva. No injuries are reported.

22:47 – A number of rockets were fired in the Eshkol Regional Council area, some landing in an open area. One struck a car inside an area kibbutz. A 3-month-old infant was injured by shrapnel as a result. He is listed in light-to-moderate condition. A fire erupted as well.

22:36 – A Katyusha rocket was fired towards Ashkelon. No injuries were reported.
