Police on Monday morning (Sept. 5th) report they are still looking for parents who are suspected of abandoning four children in their Bnei Brak home. The parents disappeared on Sunday evening. Apparently the couple took two children with them while leaving four at home unattended. The children at home range in age from five to eleven.
According to a brother of the father, his brother “disappeared” and he took some of the children with him, a six and eight-year-old. The brother phoned police after receiving a call from the father asking that he take the children.
Police and social workers are involved, signaling the father is known to suffer from ‘problems’ contributing to such behavior.

Ha-Shem Yishmor! I hope there is some misunderstanding or explanation of sorts. I can’t imagine the pain and damage of a child whose parents chose their favorite siblings and discarded them.

Could someone explain why them being found in Teverya means they didn’t abandon their children?
The relief of having found them was because there was a real fear that in his/their disturbed mind they might ch.v. have done something drastic and catastrophic. Of course the fact that they abandoned their kids still needs looking in to.
