Jerusalem light rail security agents were summoned after two Arab youths were acting rowdy at the French Hill station, refusing to comply with instructions from a rail official to conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion.
When the security personnel arrived the situation became increasingly problematic and eventually, they used pepper spray to compel the young males to calm down. The security agents sustained some blows in a scuffle, and one of the offenders was transported to a local hospital. It appears the event will lead to complaints filed with police by both sides.
One of the assailants was wearing a tee-shirt from Kfar Sha’ashuim, a popular toy store, leading some to wonder if he is employed by that company.
