Amid rockets attacks deep into southern Israel, an estimated 20,000 people gathered in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv as they vow to revive the summer’s social protests demanding major economic reform, beginning with the price of goods and housing in Israel.
An additional 3,000 protestors gathered near the Knesset. A major protest planned in Beersheva was canceled due to the rocket attacks.
The grassroots effort aimed at lowering prices in Israel vows to continue, unwilling to permit the summer’s protest success fade away with minimal results, signaling additional boycotts and action are to be expected.
