Agents from the FBI and the U.S. Health and Human Services Administration arrested nearly a dozen people in Brooklyn and Queens early Wednesday in connection with a scheme to defraud the federal Medicare program of about $95 million.
Federal indictments alleging the fraud were obtained by the U.S. Attorney�s office in Brooklyn, law enforcement sources tell NBC New York.
Those charged are expected in federal court in Brooklyn later Wednesday.
