PM Netanyahu: Iran Closer To Atom Bomb Than Believed

In his remarks marking the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, 16 Cheshvan, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made reference to the IAEA report released last week, which he stated only serves to confirm Israeli fears regarding Iran’s nuclear program. The prime minister stated that the report contains hard facts, facts that one could present to a court of law, but added “in reality, we are aware of much more than is detailed in the report”.

The prime minister used the media presence to send a message to the word to do what must be done to halt Iran’s effort to build a nuclear device, adding that measures taken to date have simply been ineffective.

The general consensus in Israel seems to be that most citizens believe Israel will be left with no alternative other than to strike Iran, perhaps sooner rather than later, but it does appear clear the international community is procrastinating when in fact, time is not on the side of those wishing to stop Iran.
