Residents who use the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel should be aware that the MTA has shut down one of the tubes in order to replace electrical switches and feeder cables.

The closure will last until 5 a.m. Monday.

The other tube will remain open, with one lane moving in each direction.

The $43.5 million project is expected to take a year to complete.
