Flatbush: Expensive Bike Stolen From Garage On Ave R


The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a burglary in the Flatbush area – within the confines of the 61 Precinct.

Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Friday, May 12, 2017 at approximately 2:06PM, an unidentified individual entered the open garage of a residential building on Avenue R and removed a Novara buzz bicycle valued at $700. The individual then exited the garage through the side door, and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries sustained as a result of this incident.

The unidentified individual is described as a male Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, thin build, 5’10” tall, weighing 170 lbs., wearing a blue jacket, black pants and black shoes.
