Shomrei Emunim Rebbe Remains in Serious Condition Following Procedure

The Shomrei Emunim Rebbe Shlita remains in serious condition in Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem. He is connected to a respirator after successfully undergoing a cardiac catheterization procedure. The medical director of the hospital, Dr. Rafael Pollack confirms the rebbe’s status.

Dr. Pollack states that the fact that the EMS response and subsequent transportation to the hospital was immediate saved his life. The rebbe has a cardiac history and has undergone a number of catheterization procedures in Tel Hashomer Hospital in Tel Aviv.

Doctors explain that it is too soon to determine if the cardiac arrest resulted in any neurological deficit.

The tzibur is urged to continue being mispallel for HaRav Avrohom Chaim ben Sima b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.

  1. Rabbi Roth is fortunate that the EMS personnel were able to reach him so quickly and get him to Bikur Cholim and will hopefully have a refuah shelamah. Unfortunately, the response times for many other EMS calls in EY have been growing longer (as they have here in the U.S.) because the emergency services are receiving too many 911 calls for non-emergency reasons.
