A three-alarm fire early Sunday destroyed a two-story summer bungalow at Sunshine Estates on Ranch Road in Thompsonville.
Monticello firefighters led the charge at the 7 a.m. blaze, which also brought out a number of other fire departments.
A next door neighbor woke up to see the flames shooting out of the house and called 911.
CatskillScoop.com reports that although there were�families�there for Shabbos, the building which was destroyed was empty at the time, no one was hurt. There are reports of one injured firefighter � unknown extent of his injuries.
