Petach Tikvah Stabbing Now Appears to be a Terrorist Stabbing Attack [UPDATED 12:52PM IL]


12:13PM IL: A stabbing incident that took place on Bar Kochba Street in a Petach Tikvah earlier today, Monday, 1 Av, was first declared a criminal incident by police. Police are now stating it appears likely It was a terrorist attack.

The victim, a 35-year-old male, was treated on the scene and transported to Beilinson Hospital conscious and alert, in moderate-to-serious condition according to MDA paramedics. The attacker is in police custody. More to follow.

12:52PM: The victim in the attack is a 32-year-old Israeli Arab from Arrarah, who was stabbed in his neck while inside the shwarma store.
