There was a major Torah dedication in a hall in Airport City on Sunday evening the eve of 13 Elul. In fact, 12 Sifrei Torah were dedicated in memory of victims of terror HY�D.

The event attracted MKs, cabinet ministers, public officials and senior ranking police, including Police Chief Roni Alsheich. Minister of Pubic Security Gilad Erdan was on hand, stating, �This is an opportunity for Am Yisrael and I bless the initiative, the dedication of 12 Sifrei Torah in memory of dear heroes�. He added, �This is our response to the enemies of Israel, to dedicate a Sefer Torah in the memory of each hero that managed to kill.

Some of the Sifrei Torah were dedicated in memory of the members of the Fogel family HY�D of Itamar as well as border policewoman Hadas Malka HY�D.
