The Israel Air Force on Sunday afternoon 17 Menachem Av 5772 launched a targeted strike over Rafiach after receiving accurate intelligence information from the ISA (Israel Security Agency Shin Bet).
The IDF confirmed a short time following the attack that Popular Resistance Front military wing terrorist Hamas Ismail, 22 was eliminated and a second terrorist, Iyad Okel, 21, was wounded.
Officials in the IDF Spokesmans Office report the two were involved in a July 2012 terror attack along the Egyptian border and were planning additional attacks in the near future.
