Morsi Meets in Urgent Session Following Fatal Sinai Attack

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi convened an urgent session of his military council following the terror attack in a Sinai police base that left at least 15 Egyptian policemen dead and other wounded.

In Israel, Defense Minister Ehud Barak called the attack and the subsequent attack at the Kerem Shalom Crossing into Southern Israel a “Wakeup call for Morsi”.

According to Reuters, the terrorists used a stolen police vehicle to perpetrate the attack and after killing the policemen, drove off with a truck and armored personnel carriers and weaponry to perpetrate the attack in southern Israel.
