Breslov Promises No Trash Buildup Near Uman Tziyun This Year

Anyone who travels to Uman for Rosh Hashanah can attest to the impressive operation that exists, a system that is equipped to feed tens of thousands of visitors over yomtov. One of the logistical issues addressed in the enormous volume of trash generated by the participants in the Rosh Hashanah event at the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZY”A.

Breslov World Center officials announce that this year they do not plan to have the unsightly mounds of trash piling up on the streets near the tziyun. 100 sanitation workers are being hired to work in shifts around-the-clock to prevent the trash accumulation around the tziyun.

A cleaning company has been hired and over 150 trash containers will be placed on streets heading to the tziyun and around the complex. The added sanitation workers will continue through Yom Kippur towards avoiding the trash buildup and a chilul Hashem.

  1. As many have noted in other articles on this subject, the real chillul hashem is not the “trash buildup” around the tziyun of Rav Nachman. Hamayven Yavin.
