PHOTOS: Israeli Firemen Cited For Bravery For Apprehending A Terrorist On The Way To An Attack

Israel Fire Service Chief Dedi Simchi on Sunday, 15 Kislev, presented a citation for bravery to firemen Gal Meuti for his actions on Thursday, 20 Cheshvan 5778.

Meuti apprehended a terrorist on his way to carrying out an attack. After completing his shift in the Ofra fire station, he detected the terrorist near Michmas Junction in the Shomron. He engaged the terrorist while summoning back up. The terrorist tried to flee but he was held down by Gal until authorities arrived.

The fire chief decided his actions warranted a citation for bravery.
