The Sanzer Rebbe Shlita attending a yahrzeit of Rav Shimon Gabbai ZT”L of Netanya instructed Sephardim to adhere to the word of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita. The rebbe told participants that this is the correct path for them to follow, to adhere to the words of the Gadol Hador.
HaRav HaGaon Yitzchok Dovid Grossman, rav of Migdal HaEmek was also in attendance as well as HaRav HaGaon Reuven Elbaz Shlita and HaRav HaGaon Eliyahu Abba Shaul Shlita.

Odd.
I can’t imagin any sephardi willing to receive instructions from the Sanzer Rebbe. Would a Brisker need the Sanzer to pasken for him to listen to the Brisker Rov?
