President Shimon Peres on Tuesday, 24 Tammuz phoned Rabbanit Yehudit Yosef, a daughter-in-law of Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita. Mr. Peres wished Maran a refuah shleima as the Gadol Hador recuperates from back surgery performed on Monday, 23 Tammuz.

�We strengthen the rav�s hand and that of the family. In my name and the name of many in Am Yisrael we wish him a speedy and complete recovery and return to us� stated the president.

The president was given an update on the rav�s medical condition, he recuperation following major surgery on his back which required general anesthesia.
