VIDEO: Feiglin on Hospital Overcrowding

feig.jpg[VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE]

MK (Likud) Moshe Feiglin in a Knesset address decided to focus on nationwide hospital overcrowding.

He speaks of his own personal experience, the treatment of a son who was involved in a major vehicle accident, as well as rehabilitation and the elderly. He explains that davka among the elderly community, many prefer to remain home rather than remain in a hospital hallway under harsh conditions, and as a result, they are not receiving treatment.

Feiglin explains that to his dismay, he sees that children are hospitalized in Israel after playing with bombs in Gaza, and his and other children must pay the price for this bizarre reality. He adds that the wife of a Russian Oligarch received outstanding care in Ichilov Hospital at the expense of Israelis, because they pay more, mentioning the wounded in the Syrian civil war that also occupy hospital beds.

Feiglin explains that in line with the Oslo Agreement, it is more profitable for a hospital to treat a child who plays with bombs in Gaza instead of Israeli children in need of care. He argues that this would not be so bad if not for the fact the hospitals around Israel are at 150% capacity so by opting to treat the wounded of Gaza and Syria, our own children and parents suffer for they are not receiving the care they should.
