Addressing a Knesset lobby meeting MK (Yisrael Beitenu) Avigdor Lieberman process the renewed diplomatic process between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority).

For Lieberman, the euphoria and media blitz surrounding the renewed talks in Washington is premature, for his does not believe the end result with be a comprehensive agreement.

He reminded his colleagues that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) is a Holocaust denier and Israel cannot achieve peace with such a person. Lieberman added that when serving in the previous administration as foreign minister, at times people of stature would often visit his office and speak to him about peace with the PA. He would take Abu Mazen’s book, “The Connection between the Nazis and the Leaders of the Zionist Movement” off his bookshelf and hand it to that person.
