Speaking during seudas shlishis on the machlokes between Eida Chareidis Gavaad HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Shlita and Eida Chareidis Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita regarding the Binyan Shalem project in Beit Shemesh, the Dushinsky Rebbe Shlita told the tzibur not to become involved in the machlokes between the two Torah giants.
The rebbe explained the deteriorating situation is causing him much pain and grief, having a negative impact on his health. The rebbe refers to last week’s stormy protests by Asra Kadisha members in Beit Shemesh, leading to many arrests and violence during the course of the week.
The leader of Khal Chassidei Yerushalayim HaAdmor Rebi Avraham Simcha Chanun Shlita sent a similar message to all his talmidim, telling avreichim anyone attending protests at the building site will have the time deducted from his monthly check.
Also echoing these words, instructing the tzibur to remain out of the machlokes between gedolim is Eida Chareidis Mo”tz ( ??”?) HaGaon HaRav Amram Oppman Shlita, who on erev Shabbos had harsh words for those who spoke inappropriately about Rav Sternbuch, with the latter ruling the construction in the site can continue.
In his open letter, Rav Oppman writes that those talking about chilul kevarim in Beit Shemesh are lying “for there are no kevarim at the site”. He warns about people losing their share in Olam Haba as a result of their actions.

It’s silly to be fighting over something relatively minor and easy enough to resolve (whether a construction site involves a Jewish cemetary – just pick a neutral expert to investigate). The upcoming fight over conscription is existential – if it lose, hareidim who don’t convert to at least nominal zionism will have their children taken away from, will be prohibited from any sort of economic acitivity, will be banned from receiving money from overseas, and will probably be forced to flee.

THIS isn’t the first time the Asra Kadisha has lied. This is one of the few times that the Gedolim have put a stop to the violence, destruction of property, and Chilul Hashem.
I believe that if they spoken up in the past the secular wouldn’t have made an issue of the draft and funding of Yeshivot.

The Eida’s chickens have come home to roost. In the past, they’ve called for “demonstrations” that have turned violent on numerous occasions when they wanted to protest whatever their issue of the day was. Now that it’s an internal Eida issue, those same tactics are being used by one faction against the other.

Now at least we know the real truth not the propaganda from the media which contradicts it. we see that Rabbi Sternbuch Shlita is opposed to build above kevorim. I also don’t see the relevance of your point on Rav Druckman. I’m not familiar with the incident, and whether it took place before or after the accusations of misconduct in question were raised. I’ve not mentioned anything on the Elon case, and have never defended anyone related to it, so I fail to grasp what you’re trying to say with your reference.
If you have something relevant to say, I’d be glad to hear it. An ad hominem attack, though, does not add anything to the dialogue.

Last week R’ Chaim Kanievski, shlita, after hearing arguments from both sides, appointed a panel of two dayanim and one other askan to investigate on the site and report back to him. According to a poster put up in their names before Shabbos, they reported that there was no conclusive evidence that the graves at the site are not Jewish ones, on the basis of which R’ Chaim ruled that further work on the site is forbidden. The two dayanim on the panel then said they were appointing to third member of the panel to explore ways in which work on the project could be continued in a halachically permitted fashion, and called upon those involved in the project not to do anything without his consent and supervision. I can upload a copy of this poster if you’ll tell me where to send it to.
