images In an effort to assist members of the Baltimore Jewish community, who may be facing extreme short term financial difficulties as a result of being furloughed,

Seven Mile Market has announced the formation of a fund specifically to ease their plight. The Gemach will provide short term loans to those qualified and the loan will be handled in an expedited way.

A loan of up to $1000 will be given to those federal workers who sign a loan agreement with one guarantor. Repayment will start after the shutdown has ended .

  1. Wonderful idea to provide this support for those who have no pay because the teabaggers in the House want to take down President Obama. Kol hakovod to the managment of the best koshermarket between Florida and NYC>

  2. Mi k’amcha Yisroel!!!! True baalei chessed don’t jst DO chessed, they LOOK FOR WAYS to do chessed. Kol haKovod. Yirbu k’mosom b’Yisroel.

  3. #1. You’re rght, it is a wonderful idea, but the rest of your comment is crazy. It’s about time the Republicans got a backbone and tried to save the Country from the destruction Obama is bringing to the economy.

Everyone with a brain knows, that constant borrowing is unsustainable and fiscal collapes in inevitable unless something is done about it.

  4. So, you must be referring to the teabaggers who sent 4 bills to the Senate funding a CR, as well as the ones who just passed a bill authorizing payment to all furloughed federal workers. Let’s see how Dumbo “No Negotiation” Reid and the Savior handle this one.
