Another Man Arraigned in NYC Biker-SUV Brawl

sA second motorcyclist is facing charges in connection with the beating of a motorist pulled from his car and set upon by a group of motorcycle riders.

Reginald Chance was arraigned Sunday in Manhattan on charges including assault and gang assault and held on $75,000 cash bail.

Although there’s no evidence Chance hit the driver, Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Samantha Turino says Chance set in motion the events that led to the beating. Prosecutors say Chance broke the motorist’s window, allowing the other riders to drag him into the street.

Defense attorney Gregory Watts acknowledged his client broke the window but says Chance then got on his bike and left. He says it’s wrong to charge Chance with participating in a gang assault and he will “hotly contest” those charges.

  1. Chance got on his bike & left… Not because he thought it was wrong, but because he knew he’s in big trouble, & if he doesn’t want to be caught he better run off quickly b4 the police arrive, & apprehend him…

  2. After breaking the window the animal just got on his bike and left the scene? Now, don’t we all believe that?! I mean don’t we all break a window or two as part of our daily routine?

  3. Chance was a vilda chaya among many vilda chayas. Therefore, this waste should be charged with the felonies. I am sure he was leaving the scene because “he is such a good boy” and wanted no part of it.

  4. Very courageous act by professor chance breaking a car window with a woman and infant in the car. Haven’t seen this much courage out of a thug since lemrick nelson.
