Jerusalem Contemplates Giving Away Land to Annex the Gush

abasAs Justice Minister Tzipi Livni continues negotiations with the PA (Palestinian Authority) under a media blackout, leaks to the press show that even with Livni willing to ‘give away the farm’, talks with the PA are on the verge of collapse.

One of the possibilities reportedly being weighed by Jerusalem is giving away relatively large portions of land in Yehuda and Shomron in return for PA agreement to annex Gush Etzion. Most state leaders involved in the talks feel a final or interim status agreement with the PA appears most unlikely at present.

Amazingly, state leaders headed by Livni continue to make offers as PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) regularly rejects them, resulting in Israel making more and more generous offers.

We are at a pathetic state of affairs in which the Jewish state requests permission from the fictitious “Palestinian People” to annex Gush Etzion, an integral portion of Eretz Yisrael.

  1. During normal negotiations there is a give and take ; but that goes for BOTH sides. It is about time to realize that Abbas is here to take whatever he can get his hands on , without giving up anything on his end…. WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THIS IS A LOST CASE AND PEACE CAN NEVER RESULT IN SUCH A SITUATION!!!!UNTIL ABAS LEARNS ALSO TO GIVE , BESIDES TO TAKE ; THERE IS NO HOPE OF ANYTHING CONCRETE DEVELOPING.
ISRAEL SHOULD STOP GIVING HIM ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL HE IS READY TO BEND AND GIVE SOMETHING CONCRETE IN RETURN!!!!!
