Following the announced cancellation of the delegation of Agudas Yisrael Admorim Shlita from Eretz Yisrael to New York City, HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner Shlita released a letter addressing the imminent draft of bnei yeshivos. The letter was published in chareidi newspapers.

The gedolim speak of the time when darkness moves in and the world of limud Torah and the chareidi way of live are threatened we must strengthen bnei Torah, who are current fearful for their future is an uncertain one.

The rabbonim call on the tzibur to increase limud Torah and bnei yeshivos should do the same, to busy oneself with limud Torah.

The letter calls for an atzeres tefilla on Wednesday; erev Rosh Chodesh Shevat 5774 in all yeshivos and batei medrashim and bnei Torah should be immersed in limud while maintaining a taanis dibur.
