Arrest Made in Anti-Semitic Incidents in Italy


arrest2Last week YWN-ISRAEL reported that a pig’s head was sent to a number of Jewish institutions in Rome, including the city’s Great Synagogue.

Local police have announced the arrest of a 29-year-old man in the case. The suspect is a resident of Rome and police believe he is behind the anti-Semitic act. He is a member of the extreme right-wing and the “Forza Nuova” organization, which is described as being neo fascist.
