An IDF officer was killed during an operation along the northern Gaza border on Monday night, the eve of 4 Adar I 5774.
According to the information cleared for release by the IDF Spokesman, a bullet was accidently discharged while soldiers were taking part in an ambush.
The family of the officer has been notified. Additional information will be released when cleared by the IDF.
Cleared for publication: The officer is Captain Tal Nachman z”l, 21, from Nes Tziona. The levaya will begin at 15:00 in the city’s military cemetery.
