HaGaon HaRav Yehoshua Ma�aman (????), who is viewed as the elder of the Moroccan rabbonim in Eretz Yisrael, was released from Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The elderly rav was admitted about two weeks ago after exhibiting difficult breathing.

Kikar Shabbos reports that on Wednesday night, the eve of 13 Adar I 5774, the rav was visited in a convalescent facility by former Shas minister Rabbi Shlomo Benizri, with the two reportedly discussing the ongoing efforts to draft chareidim into the IDF.
