Another Child in Israel in Serious Condition with Influenza

healthA 7-year-old boy from Ashdod is admitted to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot where he is in very serious condition in an intensive care unit R�L. The boy is diagnosed with influenza B and doctors have placed him into a medically induced coma and on a respirator.

YWN-ISRAEL reported that a child was niftar earlier in the week from the flu and a talmid yeshiva, 15, a member of the Seret-Vishnitz community, is fighting for his life in Sheba Medical Center.

Dr. Eli Shapiro told Walla News the child�s condition deteriorated sharply shortly after his arrival and as of Thursday afternoon he was stable, and appears to be out of life-threatening danger. Dr. Shapiro added his condition is being monitored very carefully.
