Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai spoke at a left-wing protest against the Netanyahu government on Motzei Shabbos.

“I want to warn you – as much as you become more extreme, you’re bound to spur responses against extremism – which endangers the unity we’ve all built with great effort,” Huldai said. “This is the opportunity to reach broad agreements and if words end – the actions will begin. We won’t stop at [protests in town] squares. We won’t be indifferent, we won’t respond with resignation.”

Likud MK Boaz Bismuth stated in response: “I never would have believed that such statements would be made by an incumbent mayor in the State of Israel. Busha! Huldai, your call to move to ‘actions’ is wild and unbridled incitement no different from Adv. Hodek’s threat to open live fire, and Col. Zeev Raz’s statement to assassinate the Prime Minister and his ministers!! You’ve gone off the deep end! Where else will we go? That’s what you want – the spilling of your brothers’ blood?”

Transportation Minister Miri Regev (Likud) said: “They’ve gone completely crazy. They’re calling for the assassination of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the ministers. They don’t know how to lose! They’re trying to burn the country! Harm the Israeli economy and incite the use of live fire. Huldai should be arrested for incitement with Hodek and Ze’ev Raz! We can’t overlook this. The left is inciteful and dangerous!”

The editor of Kfar Chabad, Rav Aharon Dov Halperin, stated: “Only in the last week: [Former PM Ehud] Barak compares Herzog, who offered a compromise with Netanyahu, to Chamberlain, who offered a compromise with Hitler. A senior lawyer calls on the crowds to use live fire. A retired colonel calls for the assassination of Netanyahu and his ministers. Ron Huldai declares that they will move from demonstrations to actions.”

“It’s not for nothing that the ‘democratic’ Israeli left called Stalin the ‘Sunshine of the Nations.'”

Communications Minister Dr. Shlomo Karhi (Likud) on Thursday filed a complaint to the police against Ze’ev Raz and David Hodek.

“This morning I filed a complaint with the Israel Police against Ze’ev Raz and David Hodek for inciting the murder of the Prime Minister and the ministers,” Karhi stated. “Unfortunately, the law enforcement officials are procrastinating, none of the instigators have been arrested and other people like Huldai have joined the circle of incitement. The writing is on the wall and it is written in red ink. They must be punished with the full severity of the law.”

  1. And they are the ones accusing the rightfully elected government for endangering democracy!? – What kind of hypocrites together with the left leaning police!

  2. This hyperbole from the opposition parties must stop now. Their words are providing a pretext for extra-judicial actions by a government that already has shown contempt for the rule of law . The option of civil disobedience are always available but direct or implied threats against individuals coming from either side, must end. Several years ago we read equally vile comments from some mindless Ravin BB calling Bennet, Lapid etc. “Nazis” and and advocating for their untimely petirah. Politicians, rabbonim and askanim have a responsibility to either Shut Up or engage in civil discourse.

  3. The Left was always quick to take out the handcuffs against settlers and Charedim yet the left wants to break the law to hold power. One law for all. This is incitement to violence. Where is the AG? Hmmm. She has the back’s of her friends. Time to call the Paddy Wagon.

  4. reasoning being….silly foolish people were happy with Bennet and Lapid….I trust some incredible element will move these liberal monsters into the seas

  5. This is totally not normal al pi derech ha tevah.
Let us hope and pray that this is the last battle that the Eruv Rav is putting up before the coming of Mashiach

  6. What a Medinah. Leftwingers. And the mayor of Tel Aviv a first class leftwinger and a am haaretz,
This is the so called democratic Israel. They lost the election and they always blame others.
