After losing communications with a group of chareidi hikers in Nachal Dargah, the Ein Gedi search & rescue team dispatched 20 volunteers to begin looking for the hikers. The group numbered 31 people and after they lost touch, the search & rescue officials began fearing something may have occurred.
A command center was established on Route 90 and dozens of volunteers took part in the search for the missing hikers. They were eventually rescued after crossing the nachal on their way back home. It was not a simply rescue. Baruch Hashem all of the hikers are in good condition.

Having done this hike myself with a few friends years ago, I can testify that it was probably the most dangerous thing.
Not meant for a few someone with no experience that comes with a water bottle in their hand!
