A hate message was found in the heart of Flatbush on Monday, and the NYPD is investigating. A swastika along with a hate message against Jews was painted under the train on Avenue K and East 16th. The NYPD’s 70th Precinct as well as volunteers from Flatbush Shomrim were on the scene. The Hate Crimes Task Force was called to the scene and an investigation is underway. Shomrim were seen painting over the hate message after Detectives finished their on-scene investigation.

Local residents told YWN that they were very satisfied with the way the police and shomrim handled the incident, and thanked the police for responding and hope a perpetrator is arrested.
