Soldiers Arrested in Connection with ‘Kill the Pope’ Price Tag Attack

ochTwo IDF soldiers were taken into custody in recent days on suspicion of puncturing tires on a military jeep in Base 80. They also allegedly spray painted “Price Tag” and “kill the pope”. They were released after being held for 48 hours when it was clear police did not have sufficient evidence to hold them. They soldiers denied any involvement in the incident.

One of the soldiers taken into custody is Moshe Ochana, who made a video near Ohd Yosef Chai Yeshiva in Yitzhar.

He stated “I am not confused and continue with the truth. Woe to one who closes a beis medrash and it is prohibited to comply with orders to destroy Jewish homes”.

Ochana received legal representation from Adi Kedar of Honenu.
