People pleading poverty In eretz yisroel, complaints that yeshiva stipend and kollel stipends are cut by the government yet there are lavish and expensive weddings taking place. I find the whole thing abhorrent in the current financial matzav. Do it with a minyan and give the money to other moisdos not just belz.
I thought the financial situation was dire. I guess not to honer royalty

As long as you don’t know how much it cost or who is footing the bill, I don’t think it is appropriate to assume and just instigate and (the people sponsoring this wedding are not israeli, nor are they forced to pay for it.) Wish you have sooo much money and not be selfish like these people.
Those that wanted to attend with a ‘reserved seat’ needed to pay 1000nis per person. The situation can’t be that dire….
