PM Netanyahu: Operation Protective Edge Hasn’t Ended

bibyAt the start of the weekly cabinet meeting held in the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv on Sunday, 14 Menachem Av, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated “Operation Protective Edge is continuing. At no stage did we declare its conclusion. The operation will continue until its goal is met – the restoration of a quiet for a long period. I said at the outset of, and throughout, the operation that it would take time and patience. Israel will not negotiate under fire and Israel will continue to take all action in order to change the current reality and bring quiet to all of its citizens. We will stand together, united and determined, until we complete the work.”

Education Minister Gideon Saar, a contender expected to challenge the prime minister’s leadership of Likud, stated a decisive victory is required to restore Israel’s deterrence. Saar stressed the need to break Hamas militarily.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon stated Hamas is mistaken if it thinks will exhaust Israel, highlighting negotiations would not take place under fire.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said “I told you so”, pointing out he has been calling for a more aggressive military assault, pointing out did so on day one of the operation but now it is too late as the situation is not the same.

  1. Sadly I’ve got to agree with Lieberman and Saar!
These smelly skunks who cover their faces want to die!!!
Let’s help them! Extend the courtesy!

  2. There is no easy answer to this problem, except to return to our father in Heaven.
You see, there are too many religious people in the Knesset. Too many of them follow the religion of Western idealism. And they’re not regular mediocre chareidim in this faith, they are extremist ultra-orthodox, being even more machmir than the Westerners themselves. Now, if we could introduce a more chiloni attitude there and introduce them to become Chozer Lish’eilah, they may find that being a Chareidi Jew is more palatable. After all, there are no absolutes in Torah. As all those who learn daily realize, 50% of our Talmud discussion revolve around, “What is the Geder HaDovor?” When does this or that principle apply and when not?

  3. If Israel does not re-establish Gush Katif in Gaza, Israel will only face newer, more lethal and more accurate missiles.

Mr. Netanyahu, please do so—the world will condem you for such actions but the lives of Jews in ALL of Israel will be safer.

    Toddah rabbah,
    A goy,Gerry Mullen

PS: May I, also, suggest all Jews DO MORE TALMUD TORAH.

  4. Now’s the time to finish off Hamas! While the world is focused on ISIS in Iraq and their threat to all of us and the idiots from CNN have moved on to that.
