Flatbush: Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs Clarifies Her Endorsement Of Her Successor

tull

“Immediately following the announcement of my retirement as the Assemblywoman for the 42nd Assembly District this past May, I announced my endorsement and support of L. Rickie Tulloch to succeed me as the next Assemblymember for our district.

Recently, a piece of literature has been mailed by one of the opposing candidates which wants the reader to believe that I am supporting her. To set the record straight, L. Rickie Tulloch is the only candidate that I have endorsed in this Assembly race.

Rickie has a life-long record of community service in Flatbush where he has lived for the past 38 years after arriving as teenager from Jamaica. We have worked together to make our community better place to live. He is dedicated, hardworking and gets things done. Most importantly, Rickie is someone that you can trust.

Together with Rickie, I am supporting Ed Powell who is seeking re-election for the position of State Committee/District Leader (Male) and Pamela Laurenceau State Committee/District Leader (Female). Tulloch, Powell and Laurenceau is a team of long time community activists, collectively, more than 100 years of service amongst them.

It has been both an honor and a pleasure to serve as your Assemblywoman. Please join me and VOTE for L. Rickie Tulloch as our next Assemblyman, Ed Powell and Pamela Laurenceau for State Committee/District Leader on Primary Day Tuesday, September 9th, 2014.”

  1. Big deal what Rhoda Jacobs wants she voted for Toeva marriage and was just another liberal vote with that whole “progressive” chevra. I would rather vote with what the Rabbonim say. I dont believe there are any Jewish or white candidates either.
