After submitting his resignation as rav/posek of the Jerusalem Religious Council, Rabbi Eliyahu Schlesinger Shlita announced he will serve as a kashrus consultant to Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Aryeh Stern Shlita, who is responsible for the city�s kashrus.
The announcement was made on Tuesday 3 Kislev after the two met in Rabbi Stern�s office. Rabbi Schlesinger agreed to respond to Rabbi Stern�s request and to offer his assistance after accumulating years of experience in the field.
