During a drasha given by Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak he spoke of the elections, particularly the comments by HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita that “Eli Yishai left Shas and went to the beis hakisei,” making reference to Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim. Rav Amnon called Rav Cohen’s words a “גוזמה” (exaggeration) to speak in such terms of the yeshiva headed by HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita.
